We believe that through close partnership with parents, the hard work of the staff and the enthusiasm of the children, that this is the education afforded to all at The Deans Primary School.
We understand that a quality education is so much more than an end of key stage assessment, it is about equipping children to go on to their
next stage of education as healthy, confident and respectful individuals.
We hope that you will get a real flavour of life in our school from reading about all the achievements of the children and seeing what happens in our school on a regular basis. It’s a worrying time at the moment and has challenged us all, but our children, our school, and our community all still continue to thrive.
We are proud of the wonderful academic achievements of our pupils, but this is not what defines the children at our school. We measure our success by the smiles that we see around school as well as by the excellent academic results the children achieve. It is this balance that makes The Deans such a special place. This year we are delighted to have received recognition of the values that we live and breathe as we have become a Flagship Centre of Excellence for Inclusion.
We are recruiting for a Site Officer! Mr Bennett has taken an exciting new job, and so we have a vacancy for a key team member. Click through to find out more.
We had a brilliant time at the first Cross Country Event of the season last Saturday. Well done all our runners!
We had a surprise visitor causing chaos this morning! All for a good cause – well done everyone. I’m sure we will have raised lots of money for Children in Need.
