The Deans Primary School is delighted to announce that we have joined Kings Academy Trust as of 1st April 2025.
We are proud to be an outstanding two form entry Primary School in Salford, we are ambitious for all pupils including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Our pupils strive to meet the school’s high expectations. We benefit from a high-quality curriculum alongside a nurturing approach to well- being. As a result, pupils achieve exceptionally well.
The Deans Primary School opened in September 1994 and the first Head Teacher was Mrs F. Hartley. In 2007, we had an exceptional year and topped the National League tables in SATs. Mrs P. Frayne became Head Teacher in September 2009, and the school continued to go from strength to strength. Mr S. Kirkpatrick became head teacher in September 2014, and in October 2017 the school moved site to a new building to continue to grow and welcome even more students to The Deans family.
As of 1st April 2025 The Deans has moved to become part of the Kings Academy Trust family.
